Consider the System as a Whole

Accurate machine control depends on the performance of the entire landforming system, not just the T3RRA software. T3RRA software works in conjunction with John Deere iGrade™, combining terrain design, guidance and implementation with iGrade's machine-control capabilities. Achieving the level of accuracy expected from the system requires the mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, GNSS and software components to work together reliably.

While T3RRA software is a key part of the machine-control system, its performance depends on the condition, configuration and calibration of the equipment around it. Poor machine maintenance, inaccurate GNSS positioning or incorrect iGrade™ configuration cannot be compensated for by software alone.

Before beginning work, verify that:

Don't disengage your brain when engaging T3RRA software.

T3RRA software and John Deere iGrade™ are operator-assistance systems designed to improve productivity and grading accuracy. They do not replace the judgement, awareness or responsibility of the operator.

Continuously monitor machine behaviour, positioning accuracy and work quality throughout every operation, and be prepared to intervene whenever required. Failure to do so may result in reduced accuracy, unsatisfactory work quality or unsafe operating conditions.
